After my last debacle with a frittata, I questioned my kitchen skills. Now, I’m wondering if it was the stupid recipe I was using, which had about five million ingredients in it.

This is the kind of recipe and ingredient combination that actually makes sense to me from beginning to end.

The veggies for my Polenta Cremosa con Verdure (aka creamy polenta with veggies and brown butter). The recipe comes from the December 2010 issue of La Cucina Italiana. More to come on this dish soon!

My personal philosophy of life.
And I typically end this thought with: “… that way they’ll never know what hit ‘em.”
